Three new LG phones coming to Verizon

June 12th, 2008

Three new phones from LG are coming to Verizon in the near future.

All three look to be pretty good phones. The LG Dare (pictured on the right) is somewhat of an iPhone clone, the LG Decoy feels a bit like a Nokia N95, and the LG Chocolate 3 is more of a standard flip phone like the Razor.

All three phones support the VCAST garbage and all have decent (but not great) cameras. The Dare sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, while the other two phones have the typical 2.0 megapixel.

More info about these phones can be found on PhoneMag, and we expect to learn more about release dates and pricing in the near future.

Pre-release pics of the LG enV2

March 15th, 2008

The famous LG enV phone has a sequel coming out soon, the LG VX9100, and Engadget has the scoop (via PhoneMag). The phone has a much smaller front screen than the previous models, but a QVGA screen on the inside.

Rumor is that it’ll have a 2-megapixel camera and a standard micro USB port, which means you’ll be able to use generic chargers for the phone.

Update: The price will reportedly be $129 with a two-year commitment, after a mail-in rebate.
