Google has just released a nice update for Google Maps Mobile, including StreetView and walking directions! This update is for Blackberry and other Java-enabled phone for now (no Symbian or iPhone yet), but other devices are coming soon.
You can download the update at google.com/gmm, or watch the video below for more info:
I can’t vouch for how it might perform, but the Blackberry 9500 is looking very nice. It has a 480×360 screen, and these screenshots make it look awesome. We’ll find out soon just how awesome (or not) it really is.
The much-rumored BlackBerry Bold has been officially unveiled. Among other things, it features:
480×320 resolution
65,000 colors
new design
replaceable faceplates
I’ve never thought that BlackBerry devices looked very sharp, but this one looks nice. I’d still rather have a device with a slide-out keyboard (like the upcoming XPERIA X1), so you can have a big screen and a QWERTY keyboard. Still, this is a very nice-looking phone.
The device will be available on AT&T this summer for a price of roughly $300 to $400.
