iPhone 2.0.2 Firmware Released

Seemingly out of nowhere, Apple has released firmware version 2.0.2 for the iPhone. As with the last update, this one simply addresses “bug fixes”. It’s believed that this update addresses some of the 3G connectivity problems, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

    I’ve read that this reportedly improves web browsing, typing lag and transitions from music list to cover flow. In my case, I notice a BIG improvement when turning the screen sideways (and back) in Safari. Also, my contacts list seems much snappier, but that tends to get worse over the course of a few days until I reboot. We’ll see if the reboot is still required…
