16GB iPhone is finally here!
February 5, 2008 – 2:36 pm
(via IntoMobile) With relatively little fanfare, Apple as released the 16GB version of the iPhone. The price is $499, which is $100 more than the 8GB version.
We thought it might be released at MacWorld a few weeks ago, but that turned out to be a hoax. Since it didn’t launch then, the timing of this really surprises me.
Now if they’d just add pic txts, video capture and 3G support, we’d be all set!
Update: 4:29pm EST - The iPod Touch has also doubled its memory, up to 32GB. Same price as the 16GB iPhone at $499.

It’s about time. And it would be nice if pic texts were added in the near future.

I can’t believe they still don’t have pic text and video capture in there yet. I have to believe that those will be some of the first applications released once the SDK comes out.
