iPhone 1.1.3 update coming next week, with lots of good toys
The latest update for the iPhone, version 1.1.3, is expected next week. Among the list of updates:
- “My Location” in Google Maps, a GPS-like feature that triangulates your position using cell tower information.
- Google Maps will now have a hybrid map view.
- Drag icons to move them around the Springboard (main screen).
- The home screen supports multiple pages.
- You can add web bookmarks to your home screen.
- SMS sending to multiple people.
The bad news — all third party apps and unlocks that you have loaded will be killed. Still, it sounds like a pretty good update. Here is a video of icons being dragged around the screen.
